We’re back for another epic year of Spring Kleaning. What is Spring Kleaning? It is a clothing drive/service project to collect items from the public.
Here is the process:
1.Do a closet clean out. Shoes, Jeans, Coats, Shirts, Dresses, Shorts, Skirts, Bedding, Towels, Sleeping Bags and all other textiles will be accepted. Items should be clean and still good quality. Bagged or boxed.
2.Get us your items.
a. OPTION ONE – DROP OFF: Volunteers will be at Lawton Community Center, Greaterworks Church of Jesus Christ , Mason Community Center, Fairlawn Heights Discovery Montessori and City of Joy to assist you with unloading items from your vehicle and loading them into the bins on 4/22/23 from 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
b. OPTION TWO – DROP OFF: On your own load items at Ellet Community Center, on 4/22/23 or 4/23/23.
c. OPTION THREE – PICK-UP: You can schedule FREE pick-up from your front door by e-mailing capzto@gmail.com (Akron, Ohio only) prior to 4/22/23
d. OPTION FOUR – DONATE: Your monetary donations will be used to assist with supporting the Sojourner Truth Memorial Plaza Project. Sojourner Truth traveled America preaching, advocating for women’s rights, and denouncing slavery. Please make your donation when prompted under ticket type or send donations made payable to Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®(Spring Kleaning in the memo) and mail to AKA ZTO P.O.
